Why Adoption is divine...

Adoption didn't seem to her as a bad idea.

There were times when she had wept for hours

for not being blessed with a child.

Now, as she watched the baby cuddle-up

peacefully against her warmth, she realized

she had made the right decision.

If only Yashoda knew who she had really brought home...

The Shooter

The decorated major had won another gold for the country at the Olympics.

At the press meet, the reporter asked ,

"What's the secret behind your success?"

The shooter replied calmly, "You know...

It actually helps when your targets don't shoot back at you."

Just another day in the life of a soldier.

The Premises

She entered the premises with much anxiety.

prompting me to carefully shift my weight around her graceful curves

to keep her pinned firmly to the ground.

Looking down at her, I realized how much I loved ...

The Think-Tank

He couldn't remember how long he'd been there,

but he felt much better already.

This place, where so many thinkers and philosophers had born,

would surely host his Eureka moment one of these days, he thought.

He felt light as he stood up to leave,

making sure he flushed before reaching for the door.

The Outbreak

The recent outbreak had infected me as well.

My heart was thumping unusually fast,

pumping more sweat onto my unkempt clothes

than blood into my veins.

My mind simply refused to make peace with my body.

My eyes moved frantically against heavy eyelids.

They wouldn't shut, I knew.

Not until I'm done with my 55er.
