At the Lights...

The vehicles up front were running 

helter-skelter to make way

for the ambulance stuck way back at the red lights.

"Sweet!", I thought. "I didn't know people could be so..".

Just then, the ambulance made past the lights 

followed by a bunch of bikes chasing its tail to escape traffic.

"Cunning", I finished.

Out of Context

"Why don't you just throw it away?", 

I asked my dad who was banging the remote trying to make it work.

"It's not working now, there's no use having it any longer", I added.

My 'retired' dad wore a wry smile on his face,

just as i realized what i had said.
